Little Free Libraries
Neighborhoods all over the world are adding Little Free Libraries. These small shelves allow people to share books. You can take books for free and leave books you have already read. There are 80,000 libraires all over the world including USA, Canada, Ukraine, Italy, Nigeria, Philippines, Egypt, Venezuela, Poland and more If there is no Little Free Library in your neighborhood you can start your own with very little money. An international poet who lives in Ukrainian town Ternopil, winner of different literary competitions. His poems were published in the United States, the United Kingdom and Ghana and translated in Bengali language by Indian poet Niladri Mahajan. This year in June his poetry will be presented on the Festival of African Child in Kenya and will be translated in local African languages: Luo, Luhya and Swahili. Igor Marinovsky can consult about socio-economic condition of Ukrainian children and provide information about activities of charities in Ukraine. Mariela Cordero, Venezuela, is a lawyer, poet, writer, translator and visual artist. She has won some literary awards:Third Prize of Poetry Alejandra Pizarnik Argentina (2014). First Prize at the Second Ibero-American Poetry Contest Euler Granda, Ecuador (2015). Second Prize of Poetry Concorso Letterario Internazionale Bilingüe Tracceperlameta Edizioni, Italy (2015) Micropoemas Prize in Spanish of the III contest TRANSPalabr @RTE 2015, Spain. First Place in International Poetry Contest Hispanic Poets mention of literary quality, Spain 2016. Honorable Mention in the Guido Gozzano Literary Prize Italy (2018) Her poems have been published in various anthologies and literary magazines and have been translated into English, Shone, French, Serbian, Arabic, Uzbek, Russian and Macedonian. She has published poetry books The Body of Doubt (2013) and The Identical Fire (2015). This is a worldwide children advocacy and humanitarian movement that is focused on promotion and protection of children rights globally. It brings together organizations, groups and individuals working for children across the globe under one strong umbrella for effectiveness of service delivery and advocacy.
It has an elaborate structure that includes Regional Coordinators in charge of continents and subcontinents, Country Coordinators, Provincial / Sub country Coordinators . At the top the Movement has a President a Secretary General who is in charge of administration, a Deputy President in charge of Coordination and a Deputy President in charge of Resource Mobilisation. The Movement hopes to ensure there is enhanced approach in child rights advocacy and very effective and proper coordination of humanitarian service across the globe. |
